Job summary

Smoky Mountain Resorts in the Smoky Mountains region is seeking a Maintenance Property Supervisor to oversee the maintenance department across guest rooms, facilities, waterpark, and grounds. You will manage budgets, recruit and train staff, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

The role requires leadership, maintenance expertise, and a focus on legendary service and hospitality within a busy resort environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-1 year of supervisory experience directly supervising 2-4 people is preferred.
• HVAC and CPO certificates are preferred.
• Maintenance experience is required.
• Hospitality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all guest room, building, activities, waterpark, and grounds maintenance at the property.
• Complete weekly and monthly reports and paperwork as assigned.
• Ensure efficient management of the maintenance department by enforcing all policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to action items and guest-related issues to prevent recurrence.
• Train maintenance personnel for proper waterpark and pool maintenance.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and other trade companies on property projects.
