Job summary

Staffmark Group in Downey, CA is hiring a WaterJet Operator to operate Waterjet, Laser, and CNC machinery in a dynamic manufacturing setting. The role involves setting up equipment, loading and unloading materials, and monitoring production for quality while interpreting drawings and blueprints.

You will use precision measuring tools to verify tolerances, maintain parts quality, and work in a safety-focused environment with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Waterjet, Laser, or CNC machinery.
• Ability to safely set up and operate production equipment.
• Knowledge of G-Code and CNC machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Waterjet Laser and/or CNC machines.
• Load and unload materials onto production equipment.
• Monitor production to ensure quality standards are met.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Machine parts to tight tolerances.
• Deburr, drill, tap, and countersink finished components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and production specifications.
• Maintain the quality of fabricated parts and equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
