Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Wickliffe, OH seeks a full-time operator to run waterjet cutting equipment and support tooling for aerospace-grade parts. You will set up machines, perform minor maintenance, and inspect parts for quality, while maintaining logs and ensuring a clean, safe work area.

Team-oriented and self-motivated candidates are preferred. The role involves following SOPs, training as needed, and collaboration with maintenance on more complex items, with standard production duties

Qualifications

• Proficiency with applicable procedure instructions.
• Meet defined visual acuity requirements when required.
• Meet color perception standards when required.
• Willingness to undertake additional SOP/Certifications training.

Responsibilities

• Operate waterjet machine to cut parts.
• Operate hydraulic mold separator to prepare parts for cut-off.
• Perform minor maintenance on nozzles and feed lines.
• Set up machines for new parts (fixture change, program change).
• Inspect parts visually after cut and troubleshoot problems.
• Record maintenance and operating events in log.
• Record all work performed in Lot Control.
• Keep the work area clean, orderly and safe.
• Follow safety rules and SOPs.
• Assist maintenance on major items when needed.
