Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating waterjet cutting machinery or similar CNC equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Certification in CNC operation or waterjet technology.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming cutting paths.
• Knowledge of materials science related to metals and composites.
• Previous experience in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to operate a forklift with previous experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate waterjet cutting machines to cut various materials such as metal, foam, plastics.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and reports to determine cutting specifications.
• Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or deviations and adjust to maintain quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of waterjet equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and engineers to optimize cutting processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, material usage, and machine maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during operation.
