Job summary

CIRCOR Navy in Norfolk, VA seeks a Senior Manager of Operational Planning & Control to lead demand and inventory planning, material readiness, and supply execution for the Waterfront aftermarket repair network. You will own the planning system, drive KPIs, and coordinate across Sales, Service Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of inventory planning, materials management, supply chain, warehousing and logistics.
• Ability to translate demand into inventory requirements, priorities, and executable supply plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; uses data and KPIs to identify root causes and drive results.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and inventory controls.
• Exceptional cross-functional leader able to drive execution across functions, factories and suppliers.
• Strong people leader and communicator with cadence and escalation management.

Responsibilities

• Demand & Inventory Planning: Translate orders into inventory requirements and establish replenishment targets.
• Material Readiness & Supply Execution: Own readiness, shortage lists, and execution against required dates.
• Supply Control Tower & Recovery: Lead cross-functional towers to identify constraints and drive recovery.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Lead coordinators/expeditors interfacing with procurement, factories, and suppliers.
• Inventory, Warehouse & Logistics: Own availability, accuracy, replenishment, ERP transactions, and movement.
• Quality & Inspection: Ensure material and repairs meet requirements.
• Operational Management: Own KPIs and cadences to drive visibility and continuous improvement.
• Site & Network Leadership: Norfolk site lead; scale the Waterfront repair center network.

APICS CPIM certification preferred

Proven results in material availability, inventory performance & OTD
