Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of health and safety, employment, and human rights regulations.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily dining operations, including task delegation, team motivation, and coaching.
• Conduct pre-meal meetings and ongoing associate training to ensure efficiency and service expectations.
• Oversee food production planning, waste management, and record-keeping to meet quality standards.
• Resolve issues encountered by wait staff or residents promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Assist with staffing matters including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and discipline.
• Enforce HACCP and health/safety policies and ensure proper sanitation.
• Interact with residents and staff during service to ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee production reports, inventory, and requisitions; manage POS training.
