Job summary

SSA Group at Snook Haven in Venice, Florida seeks a General Manager to oversee a waterfront restaurant along the Myakka River, coordinating food and beverage service for boaters and guests. You will lead a multi-department team, manage budgeting, forecasting, and per-capital metrics while ensuring compliance with local, state and federal laws.

The role requires strong leadership and financial stewardship, with a focus on guest experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Five years operations management experience.
• Two years management experience in cultural, iconic, amusement or museum attractions is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach, supervise and direct all department managers to meet daily operational needs.
• Schedule management personnel as necessary.
• Develop training standards for alcohol service, customer service and safety.
• Lead management meetings and ensure proper training for department heads.
• Track and manage inventory and COG with Executive Chef, Retail Ops Manager and Buyer.
• Maintain positive client relations and liaison between SSA and Client.
• Drive guest experience and operational output to high levels, in collaboration with marketing.
