Job summary

Shaner Hotels, featuring the 83-room Courtyard Faro Blanco Resort in Marathon, FL, seeks a Front Desk Supervisor to oversee daily Front Desk operations and lead the Front Office team. You will ensure seamless guest arrivals, respond to inquiries, and coach staff to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced, on-site hotel environment.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of Front Desk or hospitality experience, with strong communication and cash-handling skills, and a willingness to work

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Front Desk or hospitality experience in a similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in Hospitality Management or Business preferred.
• Experience with hotel PMS is preferred and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Front Desk operations and ensure exceptional guest service.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, rates, occupancy, and arrivals/departures.
• Greet guests professionally and handle inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
• Coach and train Front Desk staff and assist with scheduling and coverage.
• Process check-ins/outs, manage reservations, and handle payments with accuracy.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of Front Desk and lobby areas.
• Be flexible to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and varied shifts.
