Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is seeking a Water/Wastewater Wage Instructor to deliver and conduct specialized courses at COAST/ RAM in Texas, supporting TEEX Workforce Development. The role involves classroom delivery, preparation, and ongoing technical maintenance of skills for utility personnel.

The position is temporary/part-time with telecommuter options for Brownsville or Corpus Christi, Texas, requiring a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant licenses; flexible

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of experience in operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems.
• Instructor training or classroom experience preferred (60 hours) or equivalent teaching background.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and conduct training courses for water and wastewater personnel.
• Prepare classrooms and teaching aids for instruction.
• Complete required administrative paperwork and maintain documentation.
• Maintain technical competence and stay current in the field.
