Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is seeking a Wage Instructor to train water and wastewater personnel across COAST in Corpus Christi and RAM in Brownsville. You will deliver courses, prepare classrooms, and maintain current technical skills.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, three years in water utility systems, and valid driver’s license with residence in eligible Texas counties. This is a part-time, telecommuting role with TEEX programs.

**Water/Wastewater Wage Instructor - COAST/TRAIN****$45.00 per hour****Temporary/Casual Staff (Part-Time)****Telecommuter - Brownsville or Corpus Christi, Texas****The Role at a Glance**The Wage Agency Instructor, under direction, assists in training various specialty skilled and/or semi-skilled courses within the TEEX Workforce Development Programs at the Coastal Bend Occupational Advanced Skills Training (COAST) in Corpus Christi, Texas and the RGV Advanced Manufacturing Hub (RAM) in Brownsville, Texas. The instructor delivers and conducts training courses for water and wastewater utility personnel to increase their technical competence and skills. This position's duties include classroom and topic preparation, delivery of classes including demonstrating with teaching aids, and completing required administrative paperwork. The instructor is expected to maintain their technical competence and skills.This position reports to the ITSI Workforce Development Program Coordinator.**Qualifications of the Role*** Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience.* Three years of experience in operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems.* Due to the location of course facilitation, applicants must reside in any of the following counties to be considered: Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Cameron, Duval, Hidalgo, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, and Willacy.* Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.* Texas Class \"B\" Water License.* Texas Class \"B\" Wastewater License or Wastewater Collection II or III.*TCEQ Sponsor Requirements** *One year of experience in training adults and one of the following:** 60 hours of classroom instructional experience.* Completion of approved Instructor training courses in Methods of Teaching.* Completion of approved Instructor training courses in Effective Instructional Techniques and Instructional Design and Evaluation.* Completion of approved Instructor training courses in Organizational and Use of Training Materials.*Equivalency: Will consider five years of related experience (Listed Above) with an Associate's Degree in applicable field from an accredited college or university OR seven years of related experience (Listed Above) with a High School Diploma/GED.***About Us**The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is an internationally recognized leader in emergency response training, workforce training, and technical assistance.
