Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) invites applications for a Water/Wastewater Wage Instructor - COAST/TRAIN. The role supports COAST in Corpus Christi and RAM in Brownsville, delivering courses to water and wastewater personnel to enhance technical competencies.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least three years in water utility fields, and residency within specified Texas counties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of experience in operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems.
• Residency in one of the listed Texas counties or willingness to relocate to service area.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training various specialty courses within TEEX COAST/ RAM programs.
• Deliver and conduct classes for water/wastewater utilities using teaching aids.
• Prepare class materials and complete required administrative paperwork.
• Maintain currency of technical skills and certifications.
