Kleinfelder, a leading engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project & Client Manager to anchor our Central Ohio water practice in Columbus. Take ownership from pursuit through delivery, guiding municipal projects and shaping strategy.

This role emphasizes client service, technical quality, and team development. You will lead business development, manage key client relationships, and collaborate with market leaders to grow the water practice across Kleinfelder.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related field; master’s preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) in Ohio, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 5 years of high-level client management experience in water/wastewater markets.
• Deep consulting experience with strong project delivery performance and client account management.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts for the Ohio water and wastewater market, including identifying, positioning, proposing, and winning targeted pursuits.
• Serve as a Client Account Manager through project execution, ensuring strong technical delivery and client satisfaction.
• Build, nurture, and expand client relationships with municipal clients, teaming partners, and industry organizations.
• Lead proposal development, capture planning, scoping, and presentation efforts.
