Job summary

PRIME AE Group in Lexington, KY is seeking a Project Manager I - W/WW to lead municipal water and wastewater projects for our expanding local team. You will manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and client communications while coordinating with engineers and technicians.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering, 5+ years of water infrastructure experience, an active EIT, and a drive to grow in project leadership within a collaborative, regional firm.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of water/wastewater or municipal infrastructure project experience.
• EIT required; PE license preferred or actively pursuing licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Manage small to mid-sized projects with guidance from senior PMs.
• Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets while ensuring quality standards.
• Prepare project documents, reports, and permitting packages.
• Assist with proposal content and client communications.
