Herrick Company, Inc. is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to oversee water and wastewater treatment plant projects in Kentucky.

You will be responsible for safety, schedule, supervision, financial performance, quality, and overall success of assigned projects, coordinating with Engineers, Owners, Superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors from bidding through closeout. The role requires serving as the main point of contact for project matters, initializing from bid to build, and

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for all project matters – communicate with Engineer, Owner, Superintendent, etc.
• Initialize the project from bid stage to build stage.
• Understand Original Bid Estimate, Budgets, Original Take-off Means & Methods.
• Analyze Quotes and issue POs & SCs within budget.
• Negotiate POs & SCs – Pricing, Terms and Conditions, Scopes.
• Prepare, monitor, update, and expedite the project schedule & communicate to team.
• Lead project meetings – both in-house and progress meetings.
• Monitor project safety & perform site safety checks.
• Develop & implement work plans with Superintendent.
• Review invoices for accuracy and cost coding to budgets.
• Coordinate Subcontractors & Vendors – deliveries, start-ups, dates etc.
• Prepare & submit monthly Pay Estimates to Owner.
• Price, prepare, and negotiate change orders with Engineer & Owner.
• Review submittals for constructability and conformance to Plans/Specs/PO/SC.
