Job summary

MWH Constructors is seeking a Project Manager in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area to lead critical water, wastewater, and advanced water treatment plant construction projects for municipal and industrial clients. Projects range from $20–$800 million and may use CM-at-Risk, Design-Build, or traditional methods.

Ideal candidates will have 7–10 years in construction/management, 3–5 years on water/wastewater plants, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of construction, design, finance and management experience on heavy civil or industrial projects.
• 3–5 years of experience on water or wastewater plant projects.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid business orientation with proven judgment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and staff key field positions or subordinate project managers with staffing coordination.
• Establish project objectives, policies and performance standards per corporate policy.
• Coordinate with prime client and A/E contacts for preconstruction and construction activities.
• Monitor and control construction to meet schedule and budget, implementing corrective actions.
• Represent the company in project meetings and labor strategy discussions.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests and maintain client relationships.
• Provide leadership to project engineers and superintendents; guide procurement of subcontractors and materials.
• Support Change Management, cost estimating, revenue forecasting and scheduling.
