Job summary

MWH Constructors in Colorado seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead critical water and wastewater construction projects for municipal and industrial clients, based in Broomfield. You will oversee CM-at-Risk or Design-Build delivery and coordinate with clients, A/E contacts, and field teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering/construction management degree or equivalent experience.
• 8-15 years of construction, design, finance and management experience on heavy civil or industrial projects.
• 3-5 years of experience on water or wastewater plant projects.
• Proven ability to manage teams and projects within schedule and budget.
• Strong business orientation and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and staff key field positions or subordinate project managers.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards.
• Coordinate liaison with prime client and A/E contacts.
• Monitor and control construction to meet schedule and budget.
• Represent the company in project meetings and negotiations.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts and equipment.
• Provide leadership to project engineers and superintendents.
• Procurement of subcontractors and materials.
• Support change management, cost estimating, revenue and scheduling.
