Job summary

MWH Constructors is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical water and wastewater construction projects in Broomfield, Colorado. This role oversees projects delivered via CM-at-Risk, Design-Build, or Design-Bid-Build, coordinating with municipal and industrial clients, A/E teams, and field staff to meet schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering/construction management degree or equivalent experience.
• 8–15 years of construction, design, finance and management experience on heavy civil or industrial projects.
• 3–5 years of experience on water or wastewater plant projects.
• Ability to apply effective management techniques to maximize performance.
• Understanding of corporate/industry practices and their impact on project activities.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business orientation and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and staff key field positions and coordinate staffing with US Operations and Area heads.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards.
• Liaise with prime client and A/E contacts for preconstruction and construction activities.
• Monitor and control construction to meet schedule and budget; implement corrective actions.
• Represent the company in project meetings and negotiations.
• Manage contracts finances to protect company and maintain client relations.
• Collaborate with project team to complete the Management Administration Plan.
• Ensure safety practices per company guidelines.
• Provide leadership to project engineers and superintendents.
• Procure subcontractors and materials via subcontracts and purchase agreements.
• Support Change Management, Cost Estimating, revenue and scheduling.
• Assume additional responsibilities as directed.
