Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proven experience in the design of water/wastewater systems.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks and other water/wastewater storage and conveyance systems.
• Perform or manage engineering/process design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment process projects.
• Coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants for multi-discipline projects.
• Research and utilize available resources.
• Lead or assist a project team in completing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Gather data for engineering analyses through various sources.
• Perform calculations and research to support designs.
• Prepare engineering reports, opinions and recommendations.
• Maintain project files and document control.
• Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, material quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Provide other duties as assigned by Project Managers/Task Leads.
