Atlas Connections is hiring a Project Manager to help municipal and utility clients plan, design, and deliver water and wastewater infrastructure serving communities across Texas.

This role blends hands-on engineering with project ownership, client relationships, and mentoring. The focus is pipelines, lift stations, pump stations, and storage tanks, with opportunities to contribute to planning, hydraulic modeling, and treatment projects based on your experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Active Texas PE, or eligible to obtain Texas licensure.
• Approximately 8-12 years of relevant experience; engineers with 6+ years will be considered.
• Direct water/wastewater design experience with client coordination and technical team leadership.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preliminary planning and design through construction-phase services.
• Define requirements, scopes, and fees with clients; manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Direct technical staff, review plans and specifications, and help develop engineers' skills.
• Stay involved in technical design while owning project delivery.

Atlas Connections is hiring a Project Manager to help municipal and utility clients plan, design, and deliver water and wastewater infrastructure serving communities across Texas.

This role combines hands-on engineering with project ownership, client relationships, and mentoring. The primary focus is pipelines, lift stations, pump stations, and storage tanks, with opportunities to contribute to planning, hydraulic modeling, and treatment projects based on your experience.

You’ll work alongside senior engineers, CAD designers, and EITs, with experienced technical support and review. The work centers on established clients, so bringing a book of business is not required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading projects from preliminary planning and design through construction-phase services.
• Working with clients to define requirements, prepare scopes and fees, and manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Directing technical staff, reviewing plans and specifications, and helping developing engineers build their skills.
• Staying involved in technical design while taking ownership of project delivery.
• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• An active Texas PE, or an active PE in another state with the ability and willingness to obtain Texas licensure.
• Approximately 8-12 years of relevant experience. Engineers with 6+ years and strong technical and project management experience will also be considered.
• Direct water/wastewater design experience, along with client coordination and technical team leadership.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software is a plus.
