Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent with a Water/Wastewater background to lead field personnel on water and wastewater treatment plant projects in Charlotte, NC.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, scheduling, and coordination of permits and inspections to deliver projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualificações

• Experience supervising water or wastewater projects.
• Experience managing craft and self-performing work preferred.
• Experience with self-performing cast-in-place concrete, piping, and mechanical equipment.
• Appropriate supervisory experience for project leadership.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Current safety trainings (Competent Person in Trenching, Scaffolds, Rigging, Confined Space, Fall Protection) and OSHA 10-hour/First Aid & CPR.
• History of completing multi-million-dollar projects.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor the project to ensure a safe workplace and administer safety policy.
• Ensure quality standards are met or exceeded on site.
• Perform short-term scheduling including manpower and equipment resources.
• Coordinate permit and regulatory inspections.
• Maintain field documents including daily reports and progress photos.
• Manage material handling, inventory, and spare parts on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors and jobsite hiring as required.
• Review and update As-Built drawings and participate in post-construction review.
