Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a talented Senior Project Engineer to support our Water/Wastewater practice across the New England area. This hybrid role can be based in Greater Boston, Providence, RI or Glastonbury, CT, with frequent local travel.

You will lead design teams, coordinate with clients and subconsultants, and help manage scope, schedule, and budget while delivering high-quality outcomes. The role offers annual bonus opportunities and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• 5+ years in drinking water, water supply, or wastewater design.
• PE license or licensure within one year or reciprocity.
• Strong writing skills for memoranda, reports, contracts.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
• Monitor budgets and performance on a weekly basis.
• Develop scopes, fees, and schedules with sub-consultants under PM guidance.
• Lead technical solutions for complex projects and assist in scope execution.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets; report progress.
• Provide project management experience and financial oversight; mentor staff.
