Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Project Manager to join our Bridgeport, WV team. This role combines technical leadership with client management on municipal water and wastewater projects across West Virginia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• 6+ years of progressive engineering experience including project management.
• PE preferred; candidates pursuing licensure considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and permit documentation.
• Lead the technical design of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, pumping infrastructure, storage facilities, and treatment improvements.
• Perform hydraulic modeling, system evaluations, design calculations, equipment sizing and selection, and engineering analysis.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff across project teams.
• Support business development by preparing proposals and expanding client relationships.
• Collaborate with Regional Development Councils to secure funding for public infrastructure.
