Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Project Engineer to lead mechanical design for water and wastewater treatment systems, coordinating with Purification & Disinfection and ZeeWeed ITR teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget while managing project risks. You will perform sizing calculations, generate technical specifications, conduct bid evaluations, review drawings, and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires strong collaboration with customers, SAP familiarity, occasional travel, and adherence to QMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering with project engineering exposure.
• Experience in water/wastewater treatment design and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design of water and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring design quality and project alignment.
• Coordinate design of orders for ZeeWeed ITR teams, and support Sales/Commercial Engineering with UF membrane opportunities.
• Lead project support team activities and mentor junior engineers and contractors.
• Ensure BOMs, specifications, and technical data are documented and reviewed.
• Interface with project manager and customer for problem resolution and scheduling.
