Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Project Engineer to support Purification & Disinfection (P&D) and ZeeWeed ITR teams in executing custom designs, meeting schedule/budget goals, and mitigating project risks. The role leads a project support team, delegates tasks, and drives engineering development across technical disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a related engineering field with water/wastewater treatment design.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design of water and wastewater treatment systems within schedule/budget and meet customer expectations.
• Coordinate design work for ZeeWeed ITR teams and support Sales/Commercial Engineering with UF membrane opportunities.
• Lead project support team and delegate tasks to junior engineers/contractors.
• Perform sizing calculations, generate specifications, and evaluate bids for mechanical equipment (pumps, blowers, UV/ozone systems, vessels, piping, valves).
• Ensure engineering designs and BOMs are documented and compliant with codes and QMS.
