Veolia North America, LLC seeks a Project Engineer to lead mechanical design for water and wastewater treatment projects, coordinating with P&D and ZeeWeed ITR teams. You will ensure quality, schedule and budget adherence while mentoring junior staff and interfacing with customers.

Responsibilities include sizing calculations, equipment specs, and documentation, with travel 10–20%. A BS in engineering and 5+ years of project experience are required.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of project engineering experience in a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical design for water and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring quality within schedule and budget.
• Coordinate ZeeWeed ITR designs and support Sales/Commercial Engineering with UF membrane replacement opportunities.
• Assist Applications and Project Management teams and feedback findings to Product Management.
• Prepare sizing calculations, technical specs, and evaluate bids for equipment such as pumps, blowers, compressors, ozone/UV systems, vessels, piping, and valves.
• Engineer systems compliant with engineering principles, standards, specifications, and local codes.
• Ensure accurate documentation of engineering designs, BOMs and data; review drawings and related documents.
• Coordinate design reviews and resolve project issues related to design, construction, and startup.
• Delegate and mentor junior engineers and internal contractors.
• Meet QMS requirements and interface with project manager and customer on resolutions.
