Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Project Engineer to drive mechanical design for purification and disinfection projects, coordinating with P&D and ZeeWeed ITR teams. You will lead a project support group, ensure quality documentation, and collaborate with customers to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

Required: BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years in related engineering with project experience. Travel up to 20% is expected; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of related engineering and project engineering experience.
• Ability to read P&IDs and PFDs.
• Experience with hydraulic design and pump sizing.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design of water and wastewater treatment systems within schedule and budget.
• Coordinate design for ZeeWeed ITR teams and support sales engineering with UF membrane replacement opportunities.
• Lead project support team and mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure BOMs and engineering drawings are complete and accurate.
• Meet QMS requirements and interface with project manager and customer.
