Job summary

Veolia Environnement SA is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Purification & Disinfection and ZeeWeed ITR teams. You will design mechanical equipment for water and wastewater treatment systems, coordinate designs for ZeeWeed ITR orders, and support engineering with cross-functional teams to meet quality, schedule, and budget goals.

The role requires a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of project engineering experience, and strong knowledge of P&IDs, PFDs, and hydraulic

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in engineering with project engineering experience.
• Process design experience for water/wastewater treatment systems.
• UF/MBR domain knowledge and related content/tools.
• Ability to read P&IDs and PFDs.
• Hydraulic design experience including pump head calculations.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical equipment for water treatment systems while meeting schedule and budget.
• Coordinate design of ZeeWeed ITR orders and support UF membrane replacement opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers in project execution.
• Perform sizing calculations and generate technical specs and bid evaluations for procurement.
• Review drawings and ensure BOM accuracy; document engineering data.
• Interface with project manager and customer to resolve issues and drive timely delivery.
• Travel 10–20% as required.
