Clark Construction in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a Project Engineer to lead technical tasks across a water/wastewater project. You will coordinate daily with clients, trade partners, engineers, architects, and our crew to ensure schedule, quality, and safety on site.

The role requires 2+ years in construction engineering, ability to read drawings, manage submittals, and support project plans and change orders.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline or relevant work experience.
• 2+ years' experience in an engineer, project engineer, or a similar role in the construction industry.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications; computer proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with clients, trade partners, engineers, architects and staff.
• Support project scheduling, submittals, and change orders.
• Lead development of project plans and manage material deliveries.
• Review change proposals from trade partners and negotiate when needed.
• Draft change orders and manage document control and turnover to owner.
