Job summary

Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the Water/Wastewater Division serving Brevard and Indian River County, FL.

You will work under the Project Manager, interface with estimating, administration, and field supervision to complete assigned tasks. The role emphasizes coordination of schedules, submittals, and RFIs, with responsibilities spanning from design support to field execution and production planning.

Qualifications

• Four (4) year engineering degree.
• Experience interfacing with estimating and project teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project logs and schedules.
• Identify RFIs and coordinate submittals.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site activities.
• Prepare and review O&M materials and as-built drawings.
• Assist in production planning and procurement activities.
• Ensure conformance to plans and safety documentation.
