Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater to join our staff in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on planning, designing, and potentially managing multi-disciplinary water and wastewater projects for municipal clients.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong design and hydraulic modeling skills, experience guiding teams of engineers and technicians, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and regulators. PE licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• 4+ years of water/wastewater design, permitting and construction experience including project management responsibilities.
• PE license is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, contractors, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for water/wastewater systems.
• Guide and coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants on multi-discipline projects.
• Create, calibrate, and interpret hydraulic models and communicate results.
• Assist Project Managers in allocating junior staff and managing workloads.
• Prepare or review technical specifications and cost estimates.
• Engage with clients and perform business development duties.
