Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies is seeking a Project Engineer to lead mechanical design efforts for water and wastewater treatment systems and coordinate cross-functional teams. You will ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence while mentoring engineers and supporting sales opportunities.

The role requires strong technical writing, fluency with P&IDs/PFDs, and experience in UF/MBR or related processes. Occasional travel and a fast-paced environment are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years in related engineering field.
• Experience in water/wastewater design and/or UF/MBR system design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design of water and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring design quality, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate design of ZeeWeed ITR orders and support UF membrane replacement opportunities.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and contractors; ensure QMS compliance and proper documentation.
• Review drawings and BOMs; perform calculations for sizing pumps, vessels, piping, and related components.
