Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Water Technology team in New Jersey. You will collaborate with Purification & Disinfection and ZeeWeed ITR groups to design water and wastewater systems, manage budgets, schedules, and customer expectations.

The role requires a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years in related engineering, with UF/MBR experience and SAP proficiency. Travel up to 20% and a strong teamwork mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a related Engineering field; water and wastewater treatment design experience preferred.
• Experience with UF/MBR domain and knowledge of related content, processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical related design of water and wastewater treatment systems, meeting project schedule, budget and customer expectations.
• Execute and coordinate design of orders for ZeeWeed ITR teams; support Sales and Commercial Engineering with UF membrane replacement opportunities.
• Delegate, coordinate and support junior engineers and internal contractors in project execution activities.
• Meet QMS requirements for project execution and documentation; interface with project manager and customer on project resolution.
