Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies in the United States is seeking a Project Engineer to drive mechanical design for water and wastewater systems. You will collaborate with P&D and ZeeWeed ITR teams to meet specifications, schedule, and budget while guiding a project support team.

The role requires a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in related engineering, strong design and drafting skills, and ability to travel 10–20% for site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering, water/wastewater design, or UF/MBR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design of water and wastewater treatment systems within schedule and budget.
• Coordinate design of orders for ZeeWeed ITR teams and support UF membrane projects.
• Lead project support teams and mentor junior engineers and contractors.
• Generate specifications, perform sizing calculations, and review drawings.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and customer requirements.
• Document engineering data and reports, and support risk and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with PM and customer to resolve project issues and enable start-up.
