Consor is seeking a Water/Wastewater Process Design Engineer to lead municipal and industrial treatment facility design and analyses. You will guide process evaluations, hydraulic and process modeling, equipment sizing, and preparation of plans and specifications for complex infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, regulators, and stakeholders to deliver innovative, compliant solutions, mentor junior staff, and grow expertise in water treatment technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater process engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD & Civil 3D software is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop, analyze, and review process and facility design documents, engineering calculations, technical specifications, and construction plans for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, storage facilities, and related infrastructure.
• Apply sound engineering judgment and a thorough understanding of industry standards, design codes, and regulatory requirements to ensure technically accurate, compliant, and high-quality project deliverables.
• Perform hydraulic modeling, process modeling, flow analyses, mass balances, and system performance evaluations to support treatment process selection, capacity planning, optimization efforts, and long-term infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate and integrate process design activities with multidisciplinary engineering teams, subconsultants, clients, utility owners, and regulatory agencies to facilitate efficient project delivery and successful stakeholder engagement.
• Provide technical leadership and support to project managers throughout project development, including design evaluations, cost estimating, alternatives analysis, constructability reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance/quality control activities.
• Evaluate existing water and wastewater treatment systems, identify operational and process improvement opportunities, and develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions that enhance system performance, reliability, regulatory compliance, and long-term asset management.
