Job summary

Consor is seeking a Water/Wastewater Process Design Engineer to lead planning, analysis, and design of municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities. You will drive process evaluations, modeling, equipment sizing, and technical reports while mentoring junior staff.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to deliver sustainable, cost-effective solutions that meet project goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater process engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and review process and facility design documents, engineering calculations, specifications, and construction plans for water and wastewater facilities and related infrastructure.
• Apply design codes and regulatory requirements to ensure compliant, high-quality deliverables.
• Perform hydraulic and process modeling, flow analyses, mass balances, and system performance evaluations.
• Coordinate process design activities with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulators for efficient project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and support to project managers, including cost estimating, alternatives analysis, and constructability reviews.
• Evaluate existing treatment systems and identify opportunities for performance improvements and asset management.
