Job summary

H2M architects + engineers seeks a Water and Wastewater Practice Leader to grow and lead our Water/Wastewater services in a Doer-Seller role, delivering project management and technical expertise while managing client relationships and business development.

With over 90 years of experience, the team designs drinking water treatment, distribution networks, and wastewater facilities and supports municipalities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, environmental, or chemical engineering is required.
• 15+ years’ experience in consulting Water/Wastewater engineering.
• P.E. required with the ability to gain reciprocity in multiple states.
• Knowledge of project management, design, construction, operations of Water/Wastewater infrastructure.
• Strong technical background in water/wastewater engineering.
• Proven track record of obtaining new clients and creating new projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategy for Water/Wastewater Groups.
• Lead growth plans with Market Leader and Discipline Director.
• Financial proficiency in establishing fees, revenue projections and margins.
• Ability to manage a team of professionals.
• Coordinate with staff to meet schedules and client requirements with quality results.
• Assist in discipline plan development and funding opportunities.
• Support marketing to prepare plan materials and proposals.
• Ensure standard procedures are utilized and maintained.
• Attend trade shows, client meetings, and develop articles and press releases.
• Prepare/coordinate proposals and go/no-go decisions for RFPs.
