Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Superintendent to lead daily field operations on water and wastewater treatment plant projects in Phoenix. You will manage self-perform crews and subcontractors, coordinate shutdowns, and ensure safety and quality from mobilization through startup and closeout.

With 8+ years in heavy civil construction, including 5+ years in superintendent roles and hands-on experience with concrete, piping, and equipment installation, you will mentor foremen and coordinate with owners,

Qualifications

• 8+ years in heavy civil construction with at least 5 years as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
• Water or wastewater treatment plant experience including structural concrete, process piping, and equipment installation
• Experience working in active plants and coordinating shutdowns and tie-ins
• Strong scheduling, production tracking, and cost-control capabilities
• Experience managing self-perform crews and subcontractors
• Public works and prevailing wage knowledge
• OSHA 30 (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations on water and wastewater treatment plant projects, from mobilization through startup and closeout
• Plan and schedule self-perform crews and subcontractors across concrete, mechanical piping, equipment installation, and site work
• Coordinate sequencing and shutdowns at operating plants with owners, operators, and engineers
• Build and maintain a strong safety culture, leading daily safety meetings and job hazard analyses
• Track production, labor, and equipment against the budget and schedule, and keep the PM informed of risks and changes
• Ensure quality and inspections meet plans, specifications, and agency requirements
• Develop and mentor foremen and field staff
