Maryland Environmental Service seeks a Lead Mechanic to join the Technical and Environmental Services Group at the Maintenance Field Office located at the Dorsey Run Wastewater Treatment Plant. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment used for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects at MES facilities across Maryland, including airports.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school diploma or GED plus seven (7) years of experience performing installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Formal training from an accredited vocational school with a major in a related field of study may substitute for up to three (3) years of the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment used for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects at MES facilities statewide.
• Work at MES operated facilities including BWI and Martin State Airports.
