Job summary

The Tohono O'odham Gaming Office is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Supervisor to oversee water treatment, sampling, renovation and maintenance. The role supervises 3–5 staff, operates and repairs plant processes, and ensures compliance with Tribal, State and EPA standards.

Responsibilities include managing daily work orders, training staff, coordinating lab tests, and maintaining records and equipment. A strong background in water systems and safety is essential in this casino setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Progressive experience in water/wastewater operation (4+ years).
• Two years in plant management.
• ADEQ licenses listed in education section are required at time of application.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of water treatment staff.
• Receive and prioritize work orders; assign tasks to staff.
• Review work and ensure compliance with codes and safety manuals.
• Train staff in new techniques and procedures.
• Collect and verify water usage and sampling data for reports.
• Schedule samples and perform lab tests to meet EPA standards.
• Maintain equipment and oversee procurement of parts and supplies.
• Prepare written reports and maintain facility records.
