Job summary

Central States Water Resources in Yuma, AZ is seeking a Water/Wastewater Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and construction teams ensuring systems are compliant and in proper operation.

The role involves supervising fieldwork across collection systems, lift stations, and treatment facilities, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining asset integrity while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL license preferred.
• OSHA Safety Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction & maintenance, and/or make repairs of collection systems, force mains, lift stations, treatment facilities, and distribution systems.
• Ensure contractors comply with company standards, contract requirements, and approved design documents.
• Monitor contractor performance to protect system reliability, service continuity, and asset lifespan.
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits, discharge requirements, and regulatory approvals.
• Help minimize construction disruptions that could lead to revenue loss or service interruptions.
• Escalate risks that could impact public health, compliance, or system uptime.
