Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Owner’s Advisor to guide clients through complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects, from planning through commissioning. You will act as a trusted advisor, coordinating with clients, design teams, contractors and regulators to meet objectives, budgets, and schedules.

A Professional Engineer license is preferred but not required; travel to client sites is expected, and regulatory, permitting and environmental knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 15 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client advocate throughout project delivery.
• Provide guidance on water and wastewater infrastructure and regulatory requirements.
• Review designs and construction documents for alignment with objectives and standards.
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to mitigate risks.
• Monitor progress, budgets, schedules, contracts, and change orders.
• Facilitate communication among clients, contractors, engineers, regulators and stakeholders.
• Participate in business development activities and client pursuits.
