Job summary

Veolia North America seeks an Operator II to maintain water and wastewater treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment. You will monitor conditions, collect samples, log data, and operate purification equipment to meet permit requirements.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED with 2–5 years in related environments; an Associate's degree is preferred. Field safety, teamwork, and ability to work extended hours are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Two to five years in water/wastewater treatment or related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges.
• Collect and test water and sewage samples.
• Record meter readings and operational data.
• Operate equipment to purify water and process waste.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Inspect equipment regularly.
• Follow EPA regulations.
• Ensure safety standards.
