Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Wastewater Operator to control assigned processes and operate treatment equipment in an industrial setting. This role requires knowledge of wastewater operations, logging daily activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of experience operating wastewater equipment; Wisconsin DNR license may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience operating or maintaining wastewater treatment equipment.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and plant operations.
• Ability to read dials, meters, and gauges and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned plant processes.
• Start/stop and regulate semi-automatic controls; note malfunctions and refer to maintenance.
• Record meter readings and prepare daily shift reports (Excel).
• Take periodic samples for lab analysis and perform process tests.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in shift routines.
