Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a Wastewater Plant Operator to oversee assigned processes in an industrial environment. You will operate equipment, monitor controls, and perform routine tests for process control, ensuring accurate logs and timely reporting.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, plus a PPO II license and Wisconsin driver’s license, with the ability to work rotating shifts and handle confined-space safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience operating and maintaining wastewater equipment.
• Ability to wear SCBA when required.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned plant processes.
• Operates treatment plant equipment, starts/stops, notes malfunctions, troubleshoots, and coordinates repairs.
• Records and interprets meter and gauge readings from equipment.
• Takes periodic samples for laboratory analysis and performs tests for process control.
• Records activities in the log and submits daily shift operational reports.
