Job summary

Inframark LLC in Arizona is seeking a Water/Wastewater Operator in Training to learn operating machinery, pumps and related equipment at water or wastewater facilities. The role involves hands-on work, adherence to SOPs and safety practices, and support across treatment processes.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, performing routine testing and documentation, responding to call outs, and providing customer service when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License; ability to obtain Water/Wastewater Operator's License within one year.
• Basic knowledge of water/wastewater facilities; ability to obtain Water/Wastewater Operator's License (Level 1) within one year.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications & internet.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of equipment and machinery including valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, vehicles, etc.
• Conducts routine testing, monitoring and maintenance of production wells, water/wastewater unit processes and basic laboratory analyses.
• Documents treatment process and maintenance of facility equipment; records plant performance including daily flow, electrical and chemical usage.
• Responds to call outs and after-hours emergencies to repair treatment equipment and related systems.
• Keeps facilities clean, neat and secure and provides customer service when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned and works across shifts, including weekends and on-call emergencies.
