Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to follow manual and operating instructions.
• Basic knowledge of water/wastewater facilities and licenses may be required within a year.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of equipment/machinery including pumps, valves, motors and disinfection equipment.
• Conducts routine testing, monitoring and basic laboratory analyses.
• Documents plant performance including flow, chemical usage and dosage.
• Responds to call outs and emergencies to repair equipment and instrumentation.
• Ensures facilities are clean, secure and safe for operations.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays and on-call hours.
