Job summary

Inframark seeks a Water/Wastewater Operator in Training to learn operating pumps, valves and related equipment in our treatment facilities. You will perform routine testing, monitor processes and document plant performance, including daily flow and chemical usage, while supporting maintenance tasks.

You will be expected to obtain a Level 1 Water/Wastewater License within a year and be willing to work all shifts, including weekends and on-call emergencies. A CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Driver’s License; ability to obtain Water/Wastewater Operator’s License within one year.
• Basic knowledge of water/wastewater facilities and MS Office proficiency.
• Willingness to work all shifts including weekends and on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, and vehicles.
• Performs routine testing, monitoring and maintenance of wells and unit processes.
• Documents treatment processes, plant performance, daily flow, usage and dosage.
• Responds to call outs and after-hours emergencies to repair equipment and systems.
• Keeps facilities clean, neat and secure; provides customer service when needed.
• Follows company policies and SOPs; manages multiple tasks.
• Contributes to a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, evenings and 24-hour on-call shifts.
