Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Wastewater Operator in Training to learn operating pumps and related equipment at water or wastewater facilities. You will conduct testing and monitor processes while supporting facility maintenance and safety protocols.

You will document performance metrics, respond to emergencies, and assist customers as needed. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts and adhere to SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL preferred; ability to obtain Water/Wastewater Operator’s License within one year.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of equipment including valves, pumps, motors, belt presses and disinfection equipment.
• Performs routine testing, monitoring and maintenance of wells and unit processes and basic laboratory analyses.
• Documents plant performance including daily flow, electrical and chemical usage and dosage.
• Responds to call outs and after-hours emergencies to repair equipment and support.
• Ensures facilities are clean, neat and secure.
• Provides customer service functions when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings and 24-hour emergency on call.
