Inframark is seeking a Wastewater Operator in Training to learn operating and maintaining plant equipment and processes. The role involves handling pumps, valves, and related systems, with testing and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Salary ranges from $26 to $32 per hour depending on experience, with opportunities to obtain licenses within a year. Candidates must be ready for all shifts, weekends, and on-call duties in a dynamic operations team.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License; CDL preferred; ability to obtain Water/Wastewater Operator’s License within one year.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment and machinery including valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, and disinfection equipment.
• Performs routine testing and maintenance of wells and unit processes with basic lab analyses.
• Documents plant performance including daily flow, chemical usage, and dosage.
• Responds to call outs and after-hours emergencies to repair equipment and systems.
• Maintains clean, neat, and secure facilities; provides customer service when needed.
