Job summary

City of Lancaster seeks a Water/Wastewater Supervisor to oversee the operation and maintenance of the Water/Wastewater department. You will supervise multiple crews performing sewer and water tasks, assign and dispatch work, and ensure timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities include budgeting, preparing monthly statements, coordinating with contractors, and producing state and division reports. You will train staff on safety policies, OSHA and TCEQ guidelines, and agency procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising Water/Wastewater crews and operations.
• Ability to monitor budgets and prepare purchasing statements.
• Coordinate with contractors on large wastewater or water projects.
• Prepare state/regulatory reports as required.
• Address citizen complaints regarding water and wastewater operations.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise W/WW employees and dispatch crews for tasks.
• Report to the W/WW Superintendent and oversee operations.
• Monitor budget expenditures and authorize purchases.
